NARM Manifesto

Rebuilding Nigeria from the Foundation

The National Assembly Rescue Movement (NARM) — our formal statement of belief, mission, vision, and commitment to rescuing Nigeria's legislature.

01

Our Belief

Nigeria cannot rise until the National Assembly rises. A strong, independent, competent legislature is the backbone of every true democracy.

02

Our Mission

To restore integrity, accountability, competence, and constitutional courage to the National Assembly by supporting credible, honest, and difficult-to-corrupt Nigerians to serve — Nigerians with capacity, competence, character, integrity, truthfulness, honesty, and compassion for humanity.

03

Our Vision

A Nigeria where the legislature protects the people, checks the executive, strengthens the judiciary and rule of law, fights corruption to a standstill, creates powerful institutions and not powerful individuals, and upholds the Constitution without fear or compromise.

04

Our Core Principles

  • Integrity First — No godfatherism, no transactional politics
  • Competence and Capacity — Only qualified Nigerians should legislate
  • Accountability — Oversight must be real, not symbolic
  • Transparency — Citizens must know how decisions are made
  • Civic Participation — Power belongs to the people
  • Electoral Reform — A functional, independent INEC is non-negotiable
  • Constitutional Courage — The legislature must never bow to the executive
05

What We Stand Against

  • Rubber-stamp legislature
  • Vote-buying and political investment schemes
  • Cronyism, godfatherism, and nepotism
  • Abuse of oversight powers
  • Legislative ignorance and incompetence
  • Corruption in all forms
06

What We Will Do

  • Identify credible Nigerians for legislative service
  • Support them with civic education and public awareness
  • Mobilize citizens to reclaim the electoral process
  • Demand transparency in legislative actions
  • Advocate for electoral and constitutional reforms
  • Build a nationwide network of civic defenders
07

Our Call to Nigerians

If power truly belongs to the people, then the people must reclaim the process. The journey to a new Nigeria begins with rescuing the National Assembly.

Rescue the Legislature.
Rescue Nigeria.
